Our Story & Staff

Humble Beginnings

In Loving Memory Willie F. Cromwell

Willie F. Cromwell, son of the late Mr. Monroe and Mrs. Rosetta Cromwell had always dreamed of owning his own funeral home. Since age 15, he worked at funeral homes, learning the funeral industry from the maintenance level to funeral directing and embalming. In 1973, he received his funeral director's license from the state of Arkansas.

The possiblility of his dream of owning his own funeral home began when he enrolled at the Dallas Institute of Funeral Services. On August 14, 1987, he graduated from this accredited institution and took and passed the National Board of Certification of the Funeral Service Examining Board.

On October 9, 1987, he received his Professional Embalmer's license from the State of Arkansas   With God's help, Mr. Cromwell's dream was realized. On May 1, 1990, he opened the doors to Cromwell Funeral Home.

The business has been in operation every since. The motto of Cromwell Funeral Home is we care...when caring counts!
