Mrs. Evisteen Ross Arnold, 81, of Hamburg, AR, formally of Greenville, MS, died Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at her daughter's home in Hamburg.  She was a retired school bus driver and a member of Ball Temple African Episcopal Church in Greenville, MS.

She is preceded in death by first husband, Leonard Ross in February 1988; her second husband, Rev. John Westley Arnold in July 2017; two sons, Leonard Ross, Jr., and Dennis L. Ross; one daughter, Brenda Gail Ross; her parents, Evis and Louise Parker-Jordan; four brothers, Bennie E. Clark, Theopurs Campbell, John Clark, and Evis Jordan, Jr.; three sisters, Margaret Clark, Carmella Wines, and Lora Adams.  Evisteen was a devoted mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed visiting with friends, working in her flower garden and going to church.

She is survived by two sons, Jermaine Ross, wife Rondreaca, of Monroe, LA, and John Mark Ross, wife Delilah, of Shongaloo, LA; one daughter, Yvonne Ross, of Hamburg; one daughter-in-law, Rosa S. Ross, of Waterproof, LA; three sisters-in-law, Linda Jordan, of New Orleans, LA, Mary and Cherry Arnold, both of Hamburg, AR; eighteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Funeral service will be Saturday, January 11, 2020, 1:00 p.m., at Green Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 316 Kay Street Oak Grove, LA, with Rev. Ronald Williams officiating.  Active pallbearers are Sonny Hickman, Fred Freeman, Donta Robinson, Damine Ross, Courtney Ross, and Trayvin Ross.  Burial in Southside Cemetery in Oak Grove, LA.

Viewing will be Friday, January 10, 2020, 1-5:00 p.m., at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
