Mrs. Zeola Buffington, 77 of San Francisco, CA, died May 12, 2008 at her residence. She was a native of Crossett, AR, but had resided in San Francisco for the past 50 years. She was a homemaker, a former nurses aide, and a member of Bethel Cathedral COGIC. She was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Wilbert Buffington IV, her parents, John & Izora Bryant Nalls, two sisters, Essie Mae Glasper, Jewell Glasper-Matheney, seven brothers, Theoplis Glasper, Genie Nalls, Clarence Nalls, Johnny Nalls, Edgar Nalls, Edward Nalls & Arvell Nalls.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Wilbert Buffington of San Francisco, CA, three sons: Wilbert Buffington, Jr., wife Maria of Vallejo, CA, Michael Buffington, wife Lily of San Francisco, CA & Charles Buffington, wife Chandra of Hayward, CA, one daughter, Carol Buffington of Rodeo, CA, one brother, Zola Nalls of Oakland, CA one sister, Novella Lewis of Little Rock, AR, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Davis Memorial COGIC with Eld. Roy Matheney, Jr., officiating. Burial was in Westview Cemetery.
