Yolanda Beverly Williams, 83 of Crossett, AR, transitioned Sunday, October 20,2024 at The Springs of Magnolia Life Care Center. She was a native of Crossett, former resident of California, a retired telephone operator supervisor for Pacific Bell, and a member of Gates Chapel A.M. E. Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Stillwell and Nettie Mae Ross, and a sister, Willametta Beals. Yolanda enjoyed having conversations on her cell phone with relatives and friends, going to New Orleans, LA during Mardi Gras, and watching sports, especially football and basketball.
She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Hightower of Richland, WA, one brother, Robert and wife Iris Davis of Clinton, MS, two sisters, Stefanie Askins of Clinton, MS, and Katrina Ross of Little Rock, AR, two grandchildren, Kahisha Duke and Hasani Duke and three great grandchildren, Zhamoni, Kaius, and Kahrae.
Funeral service is Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Curtis Jackson officiating. Pallbearers are Lee Simpson, Glenn Newton, Roy Curtis, Oliver Griffin, Lee Fred Brown, and Bobby Dale Jackson. Burial in Quinn Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR
