Willie "Sun Man" Shaw was born to the late Alberta Shaw Ingram and Hunter Gilbert on June 6, 1932, in Hamburg, Arkansas. Mr. Shaw passed away on Saturday April 15, 2023. He worked as a logger for over 50 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, sitting on the porch telling jokes, and spending time with his family and friends.

Willie Shaw is preceded in death by his father Hunter Gilbert, mother Alberta Shaw-Ingram, son James Shaw, daughter Jean "Vet" Moore, brothers Winston Shaw, Herman Ingram, and Horace Ingram. Two sisters Louise Jacob and Mattie Gilliam.

Willie leaves to cherish his memories: an adoring wife of 56 years Sallie Shaw, sister Leola Gilliam of Hamburg, AR., two brothers Moses Ingram of Hamburg, AR., and Terry Gilbert (Sarah) of Hamburg, AR., daughter Patricia Watson of Magnolia, AR., sons Willie Shaw Jr., of Alexandria, LA., and Dale Shaw of Fordyce, AR., daughters Vickie Oliver and Brenatte "Archie" Bridges (Theodore) both of Pine Bluff, AR., bonus child: Marvin Smith of Carthage, AR., and a host of loved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and family.

Funeral Service Phillip Grove Church Saturday April 22, 2023, at 3:00 PM under the direction of Rev. Horace Ingram.
