Willie Mae Smith's Obituary
Mrs. Willie Mae Smith, 71 of Lake Village, AR, died Thursday, December 4, 2008 at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, AR. Mrs. Smith was a native of Lonoke County, AR, but a resident of Lake Village for the past 53 years, a self-employed store owner, and a member of Seven Star Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie 7 Margie Sheppard Rhodes.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Mr. Willie Smith, one son, Billy Ray Smith of Lake Village, AR, five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services are Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 12:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Leonard Brown, officiating. Visitation Friday, December 12, 2008 from 6-7 PM at New Hope Baptist. Pallbearers are Wayne Green, Paul Smith, Omar Smith, Brandon Tolliver, Jimmy McCree & Patrick Williams. Burial was in New Cemetery.
