Mrs. Willie Marie Simmons, 67 of Crossett, AR, died Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Ashley County Medical Center. She was a native of Ingles, AR, a resident of Ashley County for the past 66 years, was a homemaker and was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew & Pearl Clark Robinson, and one brother Levi Hankton. Mrs. Simmons was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed decorating, cooking and going fishing.

She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, William Simmons, two sons, Andrew Simmons, wife Janie of Saginaw, TX & William Montriel Simmons, wife Crystal of Little Rock, AR, one brother, William Harrington of Chicago, IL, three sisters: Loretta Hines of Las Vegas, NV, Lorene Baker of Little Rock, AR & Joyce Harrington of Rockford, IL, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives, loved ones and friends.

Funeral services are Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 11:00 am at Church of Christ, 109 N. Georgia St., with Bro. Kenneth Ridgell, officiating. Pallbearers are Keith Kidd, Roderick Kidd, Dennis Black, Calvin Johnson, Alvin Simmons & Douglas Simmons. Burial in Westview Cemetery.
