Mr. Willie Orlando Smith, 89 of Lake Village, AR., died Sunday August 7, 2022, at his home. He was a native of Lake Village, a retired Dirt and Gravel Contractor, restaurant, and night club owner. Mr. Smith was a diligent worker and he always enjoyed working. He loved his family, fellowshipping with people, and barbecuing for his family and others. He was a member of Seven Star Missionary Baptist Church in Lake Village.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Willie Mae Smith, parents Matthew and S.C Smith, two brothers Robert Smith and Matthew Smith Jr., four sisters Jessie Robinson, Myrtle McCree, Clara Dunnbar, and Bobbie Ann Smith.

He is survived by three sons Billy Ray Smith and Maurio Robinson both of Lake Village, AR., and Christopher Wiley of Dumas, AR., five daughters Linda Jordan, of Hephzibah, GA, Teresa Berry Chicago, IL., Carolyn Briggs of Greenville, MS., Loretta London of Eudora, AR., and Marilyn Washington of Lake Village, AR., one brother Edward Smith of Pine Bluff, AR, and one sister Dixie Young of Lake Village. Nineteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday August 14, 2022, at Second Baptist Church 719 Luna St. in Lake Village from 5-7PM. Funeral Services Monday August 15, 2022, 11AM at Faith Fellowship Church 496 Hwy 65 North, Lake Village, AR. Burial will follow at New Cemetery Old Hwy 65, Lake Village. Pallbearers are Jimmy McCree, Ed McCree, Johnny Hellums, Earl Green, Jamarious Brown, Jared Young, Einnond Williams, and Frederick McCree. Honorary Pallbearers Deacons and Trustees of Seven Star Missionary Baptist and Second Baptist Churches of Lake Village, Arkansas.
