Mrs. Willie Ione Mahfouz, 72 of Crossett, AR, formerly of Texas, died Friday, December 5, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Ione was a resident of Texas most of her life, but had lived in Crossett for the past month. She was a retired waitress, and a member of the Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Newman & Mary McGinn Lasley, two sisters, Merlene Louise Lasley & Dorothy Faye Rice, one son, James David Pruitt and her long time companion, Dan Doyle.

She is survived by one son, Jack (Mike)Pruitt of Vale, AZ, one daughter, Cheryl Louise, husband Charlie Fisher of El Dorado, AR, one daughter in law, Dian Pruitt of El Dorado, AR, two sisters, Norma Nichols of Odessa, TX & Mary, husband Joe Holzer of Lovington, NM, seven grandchildren, Samantha Duggins of Monroe, LA, Robert, wife Janette Ramirez, David Pruitt, John, wife Shelle Pruitt & Jennifer, husband Jonathan Bryan of El Dorado, AR, Jay Pruitt, wife Tammy Pruitt of Downey, CA & Jason Pruitt of Little Rock,AR, twelve great-grandchildren, her extended family, Wanda Zelazney, Debra, husband John Blake of Abilene, TX, Tony, wife Tammy Doyle of Gun Barrel City, TX, Jennifer, husband Richard Doiron, Jamie, husband LJ Puente all of Beaumont, TX, Bryan, wife Sarah Baird, Kurtis Doyle, Susie & Tracey Schlarmann all of Dallax, TX, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial services are Sunday, December 7, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Cromwell Funeral Home. Remains were cremated.
