Obituary

Mr. William Columbus "WC" Parker, 73 of Hamburg, AR, died Friday, March 25, 2011 at Northeast Louisiana Medical Center in Ruston, LA. He was a native of Hampton, AR and a resident of Hamburg for over 50 years, a retired construction worker, and a member of Epistles of God Church of Deliverance.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Lee and Corene Moore Parker, two brothers, Willie Lee "Billy" Parker, Jr., Floyd Parker, one sister Christene Williams. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed bar-b-quing. He loved fishing, but he truly loved God and his church.

Mr. Parker is survived by two sons: Joey (Deborah)Parker, of Houston TX, Greg Barnes of Pine Bluff, AR, four daughters, Karen (Robert) Naveau of Long Beach, CA, Pam Heard, Roxie Ann (Timmy) Downs and Simikia Parker all of Hamburg; Three brothers Jesse (Rosa Nell) Parker, Lester (Sharon) Raymond, and Stanley Leon (Eddie Mae) Parker all of Hampton, AR; One sister Climatine Tate of Little Rock, AR. He also leaves to cherish to his memory seventeen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 1:00 at Epistles of God Church of Deliverance with Pastor Mary Arnold officiating. Active Pallbearers are Don Smith, Lawrence Tucker, Shurun Jenkins, Fredrick Lambert, David Miller, and Tim Mooney. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Cromwell Funeral Home. Burial will be a Johnson Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
