Mr. Wilbert Buffington, 88 of Berkley, CA, died Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Kyakameena Nursing Center in Berkley, CA. He was a native of McNeil, AR but a resident of San Francisco, CA for the past 56 years and was a member of the Bethel Cathedral C.O.G.I.C. Church in San Francisco, CA. He was a retired Custodian for San Francisco General Hospital. He was preceeded in death by his wife of 61 years, Zeola Nalls Buffington, his parents, Roscoe and Lelious Milner-Buffington, five brothers, Otis, Ferres, Andrew, Henry, and Roscoe Buffington Jr. Mr. Buffington loved his church, family, and had a passion for flea-markets.

He is survived by three sons, Wilbert Buffington Jr., wife Maria of Vallejo, CA, Charles Buffington, wife Chandra of Haywood, CA, Michael Buffington, wife Char Lily of Madrid, Spain, one daughter Carol Buffington of Rodeo, CA, one brother, Ruben Buffington of Kansas City, KS, two sisters, Barbara Hunter, and Dorothy Eson both of Camden, AR, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousin.

Graveside funeral services will be Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 1:00 pm, Westview Cemetery, officiated by Eld. Roy Matheney, Jr. Arrangements by Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg. AR.
