Mr. Warren Griffin, Jr., 87 of Crossett, AR, died Monday, August 10, 2015 at LifeCare Hospitals of Shreveport. He was a lifelong resident of Crossett, a retiree of Georgia Pacific Plywood Mill, and a member of Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Dora Lee Colbert Griffin, two brothers, Clenia & John Griffin, four sisters: Beulah Robinson, Merkia Shaw, Lois Gaston and Artie Hargraves. Warren enjoyed baseball, his favorite teams was the Chicago Cubs.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jerlene Gilbert Griffin, one daugther, Lajetta McDaniels of Cullen, LA, one brother, Willie Ed Griffin, wife Eunice of Crossett, AR, one sister, Earnestine Bates of Little Rock, AR, two grandchildren, Danielle Milano, husband Ramon of Pineville, LA & Dia Johnson, husband John of Bossier City, LA, four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Funeral services are Friday, August 14, 2015 at 11:00 am at Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church with Rev. Marvin Scott, officiating. Pallbearers are Oliver, Donzell, Kenneth, Jimmy & Freddie Griffin and Johnny Gaston. Burial in Quinn Cemetery.

Visitation Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 6-7:30 pm in the Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel.
