Mr. Walter Larry Hubbard, 70 of Lake Village, AR, died Sunday, February 17, 2008 at Greenwood Specialty Hospital in Greenwood, MS. Mr. Hubbard was a native of Hamburg, AR, but a resident of Lake Village for the past 7 years, a retired baker, and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas "Jack" Hubbard and four brothers: Thomas Hubbard, Jr., Robert, Frank & Danny Lee Hubbard.

Survivors include two sons, Walter Hubbard, Jr. of Little Rock, AR, & Eric Hubbard of Los Angeles, CA, his mother, Annie Mae Cox Hubbard of Lake Village, AR, two brothers, Charlie, wife Mary Hubbard of Atlanta, GA & Freddie, wife Ruby Hubbard of Crossett, AR, three sisters: Florence Johnson of Atlanta, GA, Eva "Honey Bee", husband Willie Williams & Claudette, husband Theodis Tucker of Lake Village, AR and three grandchildren.

Funeral services wer Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 4:00 PM at Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel with Supt. Jasper Mays officiating. Pallbearers were nephews. Burial was in Johnson Memorial Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home.
