Mrs. Viella Cooper, 66 of Shreveport, LA, formerly of Crossett, AR, died Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Promise Hospital in Shreveport. She was a native of Crossett, but a resident of Shreveport for the past 21 years. She was a retired seamstress and a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father Claude Gill and her mother, Rosella Thompson Gill Canley on September 3, 2012, and two brothers, C.W. Thompson and A.W. Gill.

She is survived by one son, Robert Lee Tucker, Jr., wife Jackie of Shreveport, LA, two daughters: Marcia Kidd, husband Gordon of Crossett, AR and LaJoyce James of Shreveport, LA, two grandchildren, Christian Kidd, Sr. and Chantal Tucker both of Crossett, AR, three great grandchildren and a host of family, loved ones and friends.

Funeral services Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Adkins, officiating. Pallbearers are James Adams, David Childress, C.W. Harris, Joe Green, Raymond Canley and Walter Hendrix. Burial in Westview Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
