Mrs. Vera Mildred Mills, 70 of Crossett, AR, died Monday, December 31, 2012 at her residence. She was a native of Portland, AR, a Crossett resident, a homemaker and a member of Hope Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Voyde V. & Thurlar Spurlock Pamplin, three brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ray Mills, two daughters, Pamelia Lay, husband Charles of San Antonio, TX, Deborah Dennison, husband Norman of Mauckport, IN, one brother, Fred Pamplin & one sister, Frankie McKenzie both of Crossett, AR, six grandchildren, Matthew, Alyssa & Cassie Dennison, Charissa Schaefer & Christopher & Ashley Lay and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services are Friday, January 4, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Edwards officiating. Pallbearers are Wayne Johnson, Matthew Dennison, James Mills, Bobby Streeter, Jerry Streeter and Allen Hall. Burial in Beech Creek Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.

Visitation Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 6-8 pm at Cromwell Funeral Home.
