Mrs. Vera Martin, 92 of Maumelle, AR, formerly of Crossett, AR, died Sunday, January 6, 2013 at UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. She was a native of Warren, AR, a former resident of Crossett and a resident of Maumelle. She was a retiree of Georgia Pacific Plywood Mill and a member of Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Elester Martin, one son, Willie Joe Lee Clark, and her parents, Willie "Weedy" and Carrie Hines Martin.

She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Courtney, husband Nuby of Maumelle, AR , nine grandchildren: Kaseem Smith, Jason Smith, Danielle Smith (Thomas), Gwen Miller, Brenda Watson, Schonda Lockhart, Steven Clark, Atlas Clark and Willie Joe Clark, twenty great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be Friday, January 11, 2013 at 11:00 am at Westview Cemetery with Rev. Arthur Lanos officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Ray Martin, James Martin, Aaron Thomas, Kaseem Smith, Jason Smith & Atlas Clark. Arrangements by Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.

Visitation will be 15 minutes prior to funeral time.
