Mr. Travis Murphy, 62 of Hamburg, AR, died Monday, December 23, 2013 at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. He was a native of Lake Providence, LA, a diesel mechanic and was of the Pentecostal faith.

He was preceded in death by one son, Travis Gene Murphy, Jr., his father, Clarence Murphy and three brothers: Melvin, Raymond & Earnest Murphy. Travis loved his grandchildren and working in his yard. He enjoyed pulling them in a wagon, behind his lawnmower.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Walton Murphy, one son, Clifton Murphy, wife Renae of Hamburg, AR, two daughters, Tracey Garay, husband Leo of Warren, AR, Teresa Huff, husband Nick of Hamburg, AR, four brothers: Tommy Murphy, wife Charlotte & Jackie Murphy, wife Linda all of Lonoke, AR, Bobby Murphy, wife Penny of Crossett, AR, Ricky Murphy, wife Debie of Hampton, AR, two sisters, Jannie Ann Murphy of Crossett, AR, Chris Ferrell of Hamburg, AR, eleven grandchildren: Jessica, Jerrica & Earnest Murphy, Landon Borque, Anna, Vianey, Esteban & Elisabeth Garay, Travis, Steven & Briana Huff and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Remains were cremated.
