Mr. Tommy Moody Jr., 66, of Lake Village, AR died Monday, October 22, 2018 at Lake Village Rehabilitation Center. He was a native of West Helena, AR, but a resident of Lake Village for 60 years. He is a retiree from the Chicot County Road Crew.
He is preceded in death by a son, Fabian Moody; his parents, Tommy and Dallas Mae Martin-Moody; a brother, Jesse Jones; and three sisters, Edna McCory, Luvenia Moody, and Gladys Moody. Tommy loved people and enjoyed laughing with his family and friends.
He is survived by three sons, Tommy Moody III, Michael Moody, both of Kansas City, MO, and Tommu Spiller, of Dallas, TX; five daughters, Troy Venson, of Arlington, TX, Linda Word, of Virginia, Amelia Spiller, of Dallas, TX, Veronica Moody and Shadawn Moody, both of Lake Village, AR; three brothers, Jeff Horn, Nebra Holmes, both of Chicago, IL, and Robert Jackson, of Houston, TX; three sisters, Troy Jones, of Ames, Iowa, Betty Martin, of Chicago, IL, and Ruby Ford, of Lake Village, AR; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
Service will be Saturday, October 27, 2018, at 11:00 A.M., at Oasis of Love Church of God in Christ in Lake Village, AR with Pastor Ruby Ford officiating. Active Pallbearers are Jerry Martin, Willie Cooper, Kenny Johnson, Michael Johnson, Jesse Jones, Jr., and Earl Green. Honorary Pallbearers are Tommy Moody III, Tommy Spiller, Daniel Martin, Leroy Stoneville, Carl Mcree, and Sylvester Child, Jr. Burial New Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
