Mr. Thomas Paul Smith, 54 of Crossett, AR, died Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Ashley County Medical Center. Mr. Smith was a native of West Monroe, LA, but a resident of Crossett for the past 40 years, a maintenance mechanic worker at Ashley County Medical Center, and a member of First Baptist Church in North Crossett. He was preceded in death by parents, Troy & Gertrude Tange Smith and three brothers: Herbert Kurt Troy Smith, James "Bulldog" Smith & Jerry Wayne Smith. He was a retired volunteer fireman of 20 years, an avid hunter, fisherman, and a former Hunter's Education teacher.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Pamala Ward Smith, one son, Aaron Paul, wife Dana Smith of Norfolk, VA, one adopted son, Lance Kreamalmyer of Norfolk, VA, one daughter, Kiri Leigh Smith of Crossett, AR, one brother, Roy Earl Smith of Little Rock, AR, one sister, Linda Kaye Young of Crossett, AR, and three grandchildren, Taylor, Madison & Bethany Burton all of Crossett, AR.

Services are Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church in North Crossett, with Bro. Robin Allen, officiating. Visitation from 6-9 PM on Wed., August 20 at First Baptist Church. Pallbearers are Bill Graves, Denon Cagle, Danny Castleberry, Allen Ward, Dewey Ward & Brad Murphy. Honorary Pallbearers are Gary Donaldson and Jim Stevenson. Burial in Pinewood Memorial Cemetery.
