Mr. Thomas Lee Saywer (Tom), 82, of Crossett, AR, died Friday, October 30, 2015 at Drew Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Lacey, a resident of Crossett, and a member of Living Testament C.O.G.I.C.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Katherine Sawyer on June 2, 2014, one son, Thomas DeWayne Sawyer, one daughter, Shirley Ann Hendrix, two brothers, L. Edward Sawyer and Robert Roy Sawyer and three sisters: Lula Bell Colbert, Alice Mae Wilson & Caroline Green on October 27, 2015. Mr. Sawyer loved the Lord and his family. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and spending time with his friends.

He is survived by two daughters, Mary Sawyer Webb of Crossett, AR, Evelyn Sawyer Forte of Nashville, TN, one brother, Bertis Sawyer, wife Gracie of Monticello, AR, four sisters: Mary Childress of Crossett, AR, Carolyn Simmons, Cheryl Wilson & Barbara Wesley, husband Bruce, all of Detroit, MI, three grandchildren: Anthony Dawkins, Sandy Sawyer & Tyler W. Forte, two great-grandchildren, Isaac Sawyer & J'nya Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and loved ones.

Funeral services are Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Cromwell Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Johnson, officiating. Pallbearers are Kenneth Childress, Tyler Forte, Charlie Miller, Anthony Dawkins, Cornelius Girtman and Harlan Colbert. Burial in Quinn Cemetery.
