Thomas Rayford Mills, 85 of Hamburg, AR, went home to be with the Lord, after a long battle with cancer, on Monday, March 31, 2025,  at his residence in Hamburg. He was a native of Crews, Alabama, but a resident of Hamburg. He was a Baptist minister, a carpenter, and a proud United States Navy veteran who served during the Korean War.  He was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Crossett, AR.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Vera Mills ( 2012), and his parents, James Thomas Mills and Alice Minnie Smith Mills.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 111 and Veterans of Foreign Wars.  He loved fishing and enjoyed listening to gospel music.  He pastored churches in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas.

Bro. Mills is survived by his wife of two years, Wanda Mills, two daughters, Pamelia Lay and husband Charles of Woodland, Park, CO, and Deborah Dennison and husband Norman of Mulch Port, IN, seven bonus daughters, Linda Doyon and Theresa Lusk Towe both of Bastrop, LA, Susie Winnon of Oak Ridge, LA, Rita Jones of Dallas, TX, Cindy Hagar and husband Keith of Alvin, TX, Brenda Janzen and husband Rick of Blanchard, LA, and Amanda Spencer and husband John of Zackery, LA, two nephews, Richard McKenzie and wife Janell of Little Rock, AR, and James Mills and wife Cheryl of OK, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation is Saturday, April 5, 2025, 10:00-11:00 at Cromwell Funeral Home.  Funeral service is Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Fleming officiating.  Pallbearers are Rick Janzen, Matthew Berry, Matthew Dennison, Kolton Berry, Steve Riva, and Lewis Wallace. Burial in Beech Creek Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, Arkansas.
