Thomas Harold Johnson, age 74 of Crossett, AR, transitioned Thursday August 14, 2025, at Audrey's Special Home and Rehabilitation Facility in Hamburg, AR. He was a lifelong resident of Crossett and a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Johnson was a retired engineer for the Ashley Drew and Northern Railroad Company.

He was preceded in death by his second wife, Janice Stricklin Johnson (1996), his parents Earl (1995) and Velma Johnson, two brothers Earl Lee and Benjamin Johnson. Thomas enjoyed mentoring the youth, singing in the male chorus, and serving as an usher at New Bethel.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Ruby Williams Johnson; four sons, Damon Johnson and Dwight (Shante) Johnson both of Crossett, AR, Reginald Johnson of Huntsville, AL and Anthony Johnson of Crossett, AR and step son, Joe Jenkins, Jr. (Samantha) of Hot Springs, AR; three stepdaughters, Terri Rogers (Kendrick), Miranda Jenkins, and Keshia Jenkins all of Crossett, AR; eleven grandchildren, seventeen step grandchildren, five great grandchildren, twelve step great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Visitation is Friday August 22, 2025, from 5:30-6:30 P.M. at Cromwell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday August 23, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Michaelangelo Watkins officiating. Active Pallbearers are James Mitchell, Jr., Dwight Hughes, Normane Martin, Marquis Martin, Montrell Brown, and DeMarco Hodges. Honorary pallbearers are James "Doc" Mitchell, Sr. and members of the Dodgers and Giants Youth Baseball Teams. Burial in Westview Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
