August 16, 1937 – October 24, 2024
Theolia Virginia Tucker transitioned Thursday, October, 24, 2024, at Stonegate Villa Health and Rehabilitation Center in Crossett, AR. She was a native of Crossett/White Station Community, a retired cook, and a member of Fudge Baptist Church where she served as pianist for several years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C. J. Tucker, a daughter, Cynthia Renee Montgomery, her parents, George Marvin and Nonie Lou Fudge Williams, four brothers, Jasper 'Bay Bay', L. C., William Henry 'W.H.', and James Williams, two sisters, Erma Logan and Olivia McKey. Theolia enjoyed cooking, fishing, dancing, and most of all she loved family gatherings.
She is survived by one daughter, Debra Ann Collins, three sons, Cedric and wife Dee Tucker, Lawrence and wife Audrey Tucker, and Harold Tucker all of Crossett, AR, one brother, Leroy and wife Elvira of New Orleans, LA, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
Visitation is 5:30-6:30 Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Cromwell Funeral Home. Funeral service is Friday, November 1, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Jesse Radford Jr. and Rev. Taci Gilliam officiating. Pallbearers are Glenn Newton, Terry Williams, Gene Tucker, Willie Brown, Undra Moore, and Shelton Putney. Honorary pallbearers are Walter Hendrix, Ronald Williams, Raymond Canley, Donald Ray Canley, Marcus Moore, and Carlos Williams. Burial in Ryles Cemetery under the directionof Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
