Mrs. Teretha Sanders, 63 of Portland, AR, died Saturday, December 21, 2013 at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Portland, a retired teacher for Hamburg School District and was a member of Unity Temple COGIC.

Mrs. Sanders was preceded in death by one daughter, Antoinette Sanders, her parents, Terry & Birdo Jackson Moseby and one brother, John Moseby. She graduated from the University of AR Pine Bluff and enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and writing poetry.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Thomas "T.C." Sanders, Jr., one son, Otis Sanders of Conway, AR, three daughters: Michelle Dunbar, husband Tim of Portland, AR, Shawna Tamakloe, husband Gilbert of Lawrenceville, GA, Terri Holley, husband Lee of Maumelle, AR, four brothers: Earl Moseby, wife Yvette and Terry Moseby, Jr., all of Oakland, CA, Roscoe Moseby of Richmond, CA, Lloyd Moseby of Granite Bay, CA, three sisters: Bettye Bunton of Richmond, CA, Mae Robinson of Nashville, TN, Chantel Moseby of Crossett, AR, eight grandchildren, dearest friend Sarah Moseby of Montrose, AR and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives, friends and loved ones.

Funeral services are Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11:00 am at Portland United Methodist Church, 303 N. Main St. with Eld. Johnnie Winfield, Sr., officiating. Active pallbearers are Eugene Holmes, David Robinson, Leo Bell, Edward Moseby, Jr., Leo Griggs and Charles Bynum. Honorary pallbearers are Otis Sanders, Tim Dunbar, Gilbert Tamakloe, Jarrod Brown, OJ Sanders, Sterling Tamakloe & Oscar Tamakloe. Burial in Portland #2 Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
