Mrs. Tamara Lashun Brandon, 37 of Crossett, AR, died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at the Ashley County Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Crossett,a Quality Controller for Georgia Pacific Paper Mill and was a member of Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents,Elmo Thompson Jr. and Flora Bea Modisett and one brother, Aldo Wimberly. She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed shopping.

She is survived by her husband of 8 months, Markeith Brandon, two daughters: LaJodeci Simpson and Layeshia Peoples both of Crossett, AR, five brothers: Monoleuto Modisett and Terrence Williams both of Conway, AR, Cedric Thompson of Arlington, TX, and Matthew & Otis Wimberly both of Los Angeles, CA, five sisters: Vickie Wimberly, Marshell McQuay, husband Andre and Theresa Williams all of Crossett, AR, Tynicia Williams of Bowie, MD and Vickie Black of Monroe, LA.

Memorial services are Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Murlee Carter, officiating. Arrangements by Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
