Mrs. Talitha Ellon Stell, age 70, of Hamburg, AR, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 at her residence in the Promise Land Community. She is a native of Fountain Hill, AR but resided in Hamburg for the past 39 years, a retired Meter Reader of Ashley and Chicot County Electric Companies, and a member of Grace Fellowship Temple Pentecostal Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Stell (2006), one grandson, Henry Earl Chappell, Jr. (1994), her parents, Everett J.D. and Geraldine Smith-Wesson, and one brother, Lewis Wesson. Mrs. Stell was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, playing games on her cell phone and loved helping senior citizens.

She is survived by one son: Robert Davis wife Andrea of Joelton, TN; six daughters: Joyce Lawson husband James of Morrilton, AR; Karen Baber husband Pak of Winchester, KY; Linda Faulkner of Monticello, AR; Denise Edwards of Bell Buckle, TN; Rhonda Wood husband Earl of Hamburg, AR and Vickie Jordan husband Chris of Benton, AR; three brothers: Robert Wesson, Royce Wesson wife Brenda, and Kenneth Wesson wife Annette all of Hamburg, AR; twenty-six grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Services will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenneth Bolin, officiating. Active Pallbearers are Josh Tillman, Thomas Tillman, David Carter, Hank Hornaday, Leroy Coddington and Lane Simpson. Honorary Pallbearers are Edward Miller, Ray Wesson, Wayne Wesson and David Wesson. Burial in Promise Land Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 24, 2016 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
