Mr. Sylvester Kitchen, 55, of Wilmot, AR, died January 1, 2008. He was a native of San Francisco, CA, but a resident of Wilmot for the past 6 year, and a farm laborer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Stevenson Kitchen and his step-mother, Gladys Kitchen.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Palmer Kitchen, two sons, Raji Kitchen of Victorville, CA & Antwon Kitchen of Santa Rosa, CA, two daughters, Tyronda, husband Eric Lovvorn of Santa Rosa, CA & Ashanti Kitchen of Wilmot, AR, his father, Jim Kitchen of Wilmot, AR,three brothers, Fran, wife Inok Kitchen of Winnsboro, LA, Leo Kitchen of Oakland, CA, & Thomas "Butch" Kitchenn of Sebastopol, CA, three sisters, Remel Kitchen, Mary, husband Gene Smith all of Santa Rosa, CA & Hope, husband Louis Harrison of Grand Prarie, TX, and seven grandchildren.

Services were Sunday, January 13, 2008 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Wilmot with Rev. Lorenzo Price, officiating. Pallbearers wer Clarence Johnson, Curtis Bankston, Herbert Ray Smith, Robert Penn, Jerry Raino & William Whitaker. Honorary pallbearers were Eric Lovvorn, Jim, Bill, Kenneth, Earl, Frank, Rocky & Charles Kitchen. Burial was in Jim Smith Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
