Rev. Suvoyde Collins, 100, of Dermott, AR, died Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the Dermott City Nursing Home. He was a native of Pickens, AR, a retired farmer, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Dermott. He served his country proudly in the US Armed forces, and was a WWII veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Feddie Collins, his parents, Elijah & Lavonia Livingston Collins and five other siblings. Rev. Collins was devoted to his church, he loved singing and talking to people.

He is survived by his church family and the staff of Dermott City Nursing Home. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Funeral services are Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Dermott, 421 S. Freeman St., with Rev. Lawrence Glover, officiating. Pallbearers are the deacons of First Baptist Church. Burial in Davis Cemetery.
