Mr. Steven Alan Herron, 50 of Jefferson, TX formerly of Crossett, AR died Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at his mother's residence in Hamburg, AR. He was a native of Crossett, AR but a resident of Jefferson, TX for the past ten years. He was a manager of the Sav-a-Lot grocery store in Texarkana, TX and a member of Rolfe Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father: William Dillard "W.D." Herron, Jr., who passed away December 20, 2007.

He is survived by his wife of ten years: Teena Wray Herron of Jefferson, TX; two sons: Steven Eric Herron of Manhattan, KS and Gary Alan Herron of Magnolia, AR; one daughter: Kayci Darlene Reed of Jefferson, TX; his mother: Inez Herron of Hamburg, AR; two brothers: Wayne Herron and wife Sheila of Crossett, AR and Floyd Herron of Hamburg, AR; five sisters: Becky White and husband Carlton, Mary "Sukie" Warren and husband Joey, and Kay Lum and husband Phillip all of Crossett, AR, Charlotte Clinton and husband David of Sheridan, AR, and Ruthie Bozeman and husband Billy of Hamburg, AR; two grandchildren: Jorja Herron and Tony Reed; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 26, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Rolfe Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Carlton White and Bro. Dale Doss officiating. Active pallbearers are Daniel Warren, Stephen Johnson, Jonathan Lum, Joey White, Damion Herron, and Matt Wray. Honorary pallbearers are J.T. Warren, Chris Clinton, Taylor Wray, and Michael Wray. Visitation will be Saturday, December 25, 2010 from 3:00-5:00P.M. at Rolfe Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Rolfe Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
