Stanley Dale McDill age 65 of Hamburg passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at his home in Hamburg. He was a native of Louisville, MS. a retired truck driver and a member of Rolfe Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by a grandchild Kristin Tate, his parents James Elvin and Rose Florence Allen-McDill, a brother Paul McDill a sister Shirley Marie McDill and a nephew Dean White. Stanley was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, he also loved watching Gunsmoke and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by one son Bubba Lincoln(Victoria) of Crossett, three daughters Johnnie Mae Tate(Bryan) and Christi Ann Bankston(Ian) both of Holden, LA. and Mandy McDill of Loranger, LA.; two brothers Rev. James Elvin McDill(Nancy) of Ft. Hill and Michael Joseph McDill of Hamburg, one sister in law Jeanne McDill of Swartz, LA.; twelve grandchildren Kara and Wesley Tate, Hunter and Shelby Johnson, Blake, Chase and Abbi Lincoln, Steven Gayle, Jennifer Wall, Kathrin, Emily and Nathan Bankston, two great grandchildren Eva and Henry Wall and his pal "Brownie".

Service will be Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Cromwell Funeral Home with Bro. Carlton White, Bro. Elvin McDill and Bro. Ray Mills officiating followed by the burial at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bubba Lincoln, Mike White, Hunter Johnson, Joe McDill, Daniel Devereux and Randy Thornhill. Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Behrnes, Bryan Tate, Steven Gayle, Wesley Tate, Derrick Devereux and Donald Actley.
