Ms. Shaquita Anne Smith, 29 of Jacksonville, FL, died Friday, May 2, 2014 in Jacksonville. She was a native of Crossett, AR but had resided in Jacksonville for the past 9 months and was a McDonald's employee.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillie Mae Jacobs and her father, Jerrel D. Smith. Shaquita enjoyed listening to music, reading, talking on the phone and being on her computer.
She is survived by two daughters, Trinitee Burton & Essence Smith of Jacksonville, FL, one brother, Mickey Tate of Hamburg, AR, two sisters, LaQuicia Paskel, husband L.V., Jr. and Daphne Cromwell all of Crossett, AR and a host of other family, loved ones and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 1:00 pm at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Horace Ingram, officiating. Active pallbearers are Chris, Lavoris & Anthony Lincoln, Wayne & Thomas Williams and Kenneth Russell. Honorary pallbearers are Tony Johnson, Thomas Jacobs, Willie Cooper, J.C. Boyd and Mickey Tate. Burial in Phillip Grove Cemetery.
Visitation Tuesday, May 13 from 6-7:30 at Cromwell Funeral Home.
