Selena Coleman, age 98, of Crossett, AR. died Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Stonegate Villa Health and Rehabilitation in Crossett. Selena was a native of Wilmot but a resident of Crossett for the past seventy-five years. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church on Martin Luther King Boulavard.

Selena was preceded in death by her husband Hubert Coleman; her parents, Doss and Caroline Bell Whaley; four sisters Clementine Bailey, Alma Taylor, Christine Evans and Ella Mae Mitchell; six brothers Robert, Lemmie, Willie, James, Leroy and Leon Whaley. Mrs. Coleman enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, and visiting with her family and friends.

Selena is survived by her great niece Martina Morris  Haynes of Conway, AR., her nephew George Morris(Helen) of Crossett, AR. and a host of other nieces and nephews whom she treated as her own children.

The family would like to give special thanks to Drew County Medical Center ( Dr. Wilson & Staff) and Stonegate Hospice Home Center( Monticello, AR.).

Graveside Service will be Monday, March 29,  2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Westview Cemetery with Rev. Curtis Jackson officiating. Honorary Pallbearers are Carl and Ja Carlo Whaley, Jaden and Charles Haynes, Marlon Moore, Tony Allen and Glen Newton.
