Mr. Rusty James Savage, 28 of Crossett, AR, died Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Ashley County Medical Center. He was an Ashley County native, residing in Hamburg 13 years and Crossett 15 years. He was a mobile home mover and was a member of Cloverdale Assembly of God.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Boyd Fletcher Savage. Rusty enjoyed gospel music, playing his guitar, singing, writing poetry and writing about his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. He loved watching football, playing basketball, talking to his friends and he also loved to help people.
He is survived by his mother, Alisa White of Crossett, AR, his father, Bobby Savage of Crossett, AR, one sister, Sabrina Ann Edwards of Crossett, AR, his niece, Kylie Marie Edwards, his paternal grandmother, Lois Linares of Hamburg, AR, his maternal grandmother, Rosemary Martin of Monticello, AR, his maternal grandfather, Wiley Cecil White, Jr. and his maternal step-grandmother, Sue White of Junction City, AR and a host of other family, loved ones and friends.
Funeral services are Friday, August 15, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Cloverdale Assembly of God Church with Bro. John Martin and Bro. Wylan Piercy officiating. Pallbearers are Joseph Savage, Jerry Lee Savage, B.J. Vail, Nathan Buckles, Noe Rivera & Erik Hill. Burial in Flat Creek Cemetery.
Visitation Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 6-8 pm at Cloverdale Assembly of God Church, 132 Ashley 15 Rd., Crossett, AR.
