Mrs. Ruby Cain-Smith, age 74, of Pine Bluff, AR passed away Friday, November 11, 2016 at her residence. She was a native of Jersey, AR, a former resident of Lake Village, AR, a homemaker and a member of Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church in Pine Bluff.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Velma Miller-Cain. Mrs. Smith was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and watching old westerns. During Thanksgiving and Christmas she enjoyed cooking and feeding the elderly. She also, loved telling jokes and sharing stories with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Edward Smith, two sons: Gary Smith wife Alleaner of Lake Village, AR; Matthew Smith of Pine Bluff, AR; four daughters: Mary Jones husband John of Pine Bluff, AR; Breshenda Smith of Little Rock, AR; Angela Bowens husband Clifford of Brentwood, TN; Zeronda Smith of Arlington, TX; three sisters: Jeraldine Tucker, Evlynen Kirkendolph both of Lake Village, AR; Linda Rose Cain of Eudora, AR; two brothers: Rev. Tyler Cain wife Jessie of Conway, AR; Jim Cain, Jr. of Chicago, IL; two special nephews: Robert Cain and Charles Brooks of Chicago, IL; fifteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Services will be held 11:00AM Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Rev. Larry C. Battles, officiating. Active Pallbearers are Robert Cain, Charles Brooks, Jimmy McCree, Patrick Cain, Maurice Norman and Quintin Cain. Honorary Pallbearers are the Deacons of Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church, Fabian Cain, James Cain, Willie McCree, Gerald Smith, Marcus Green and Jared Young. Burial in New Cemetery in Lake Village, AR.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 10:00AM until service at the Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church 3201 W 2 ^nd Avenue, Pine Bluff, AR 71601.
