Mrs. Ruby Marvelle Gaston, 90 of Crossett, AR, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at her residence in Crossett. Mrs. Gaston was a native of Lake Providence, LA, but a Crossett resident for over 75 years, a homemaker, and a member of Zion Temple AME Zion Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Gaston, three sons: Jessie, Charles & John Willis, one brother, Jessie T. Jenkins and one sister, Leola Dunmore.

She is survived by three daughters: Jean Maxine Neal of Crossett, AR, Lois Marie Avant of Des Moines, IA & Minda Gaston of Milwaukee, WI, fourteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren.

Services are Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 11:00 AM at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Jessie Radford, Jr., officiating. Visitation is Tuesday, July 15 from 6-7 PM at Cromwell Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Manuel Black, Billy Allen, Toney William & Bedford Taylor. Honorary pallbearers are grandsons. Burial in Westview Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home.
