Mrs. Ruby Lee Baker, 76, of Lake Village, AR, died Thursday, September 27, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family.  She was a lifelong resident of Chicot County, Jennie Community, a sales clerk in retail, and a faithful member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Buford Baker; one daughter, Debra Baker; one son, Bradford Baker; her parents, Roland and Rosie Lee Royal; and one brother, Michael Walker.  Ruby loved God unconditionally.  She enjoyed reading her Bible, working puzzle books, and watching westerns or Wheel of Fortune.

She is survived by one daughter, Aslean(Lisa) Royal, of Lake Village, AR; one son, Michael Mitchell (Thea), of Randallstown, MS; three brothers, Robert Walker(Sharon), of Lake Village, AR, Andre Walker(Sharon), of Hinesville, GA, and Orlando Walker, of Little Rock, AR; two sisters, Mazie Haden and Jacqueline Green, both of Lake Village, AR; nine grandchildren, Arlando Wilson(Patricia), Anthony Bryant, Dedria Baker, Antointette Baker, Alesha McCree, Marquita Miller, Kejuania Grayson, Stacy Leonard, and Makayla Mitchell; thirteen great-grandchildren; two play sons, Edward Grant and David Brown; one play daughter, Diana Smith Jordan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

Services will be Saturday, October 6, 2018, at 11:00 A.M., at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 518 St. Mary Street, Lake Village, AR.  Active Pallbearers are Larry Walker, Willie D. Walker, Ted Walker, Curtis Wilson, Roy Smart, Floyd Brown, Melvin Davies, and Evernia Watkins.  Burial will be in St. John Cemetery in Jennie Community under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc. of Hamburg, AR.

Visitation will be Friday, October 5, 2018, 5:00-6:30 P.M., at New St. John Ministries, 408 Main Street, Lake Village, AR.
