Mr. Roy D. Vail, 55 of Monticello, AR, died Tuesday, September 24, 2014 at Drew Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 8, 1959 in Bastrop, LA. He was a welder and a member of Grace Christian Fellowship Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Willard Vail Sr. and Mary Helen Sisson Vail Taylor. Roy enjoyed fishing and camping. He also liked working with wood and building things.

He is survived by one brother, James W. Vail, Jr., wife Debra of Poplar Bluff, MO, two sisters, Debbie Ross of Hamburg, AR & Billie Jean Rice, husband Ronnie of Johnsville, AR, and a host of other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Memorial services will be Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 2:30 pm at Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scott Wheeler, officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Ben Vail, Drake Gray, Allen Ross, Bruce & Bubby Vail.
