Rosie Lee Giles, 90 of Dermott, AR transitioned Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Dermott City Nursing Home. She was a native of Millikin, LA, and a resident of Dermott for most of her life. Rosie was a childcare attendant in the nursery of Temple Baptist Church and a foster grandparent in the Dermott school system. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a son, Frankie Giles, husband, Earnest Lee Giles, and three brothers: Willie Pitts, Jessie Lee Pitts, and L.C. Pitts, parents, William Pitts and Mattie Frazier. She loved fishing, quilting, cooking for deer camps, and completing word search puzzles.

She is survived by four sons: Edward Jiles "Joyce" of Dermott, AR, Tyson Giles of Ft. Smith, AR, Anthony Pitts of Dermott, and Larry Giles "Meagan" of Pine Bluff; ten daughters: Claudine Gaines "Irvin" of Little Rock, AR, Marilyn Cook "Daniel" of Fort Smith, Rosetta Wade "Robert" of Little Rock, Linda Daniels of Little Rock, Christeen Jiles of Fort Smith, Denise Miller of Fort Smith, Alice Boatner "Larry" of Augusta, GA, Brenda Courtney "Richard" of Fort Smith, Terri Williams "Rodney" of Dermott, and Arelesha Taylor "Tamarus" of Dermott; thirty-seven grandchildren, seventy-one great grandchildren, eighteen great great grandchildren, other family, and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, April 10, 2026, at Cromwell Funeral Home from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Dermott at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Andrew Beal officiating. Pallbearers are Marco McCormick, Robert McCormick, Jr., Ronnie Burns, James McDaniel, Adrian Hill, and Cornelius Jiles. Honorary pallbearers are Edward Jiles, Larry Giles, Tyson Giles, and Anthony Pitts. Burial will be at Montrose Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
