Mrs. Rosella Canley, 85 of Crossett, AR, died Monday, September 3, 2012 at her home in Crossett. She was a native of Widner, AR, a retired day care operator and a member of Davis Memorial Church of God In Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Ray "Baby Ray" Canley, two sons, C.W. Thompson & A.W. Gill, her parents: Ben & Rosie Lee Jones Thompson, six brothers and six sisters. She loved children, and was a childcare giver for many years. She loved giving praises to God and enjoyed cooking.

She is survived by one daughter, Viella Cooper of Shreveport, LA, six grandchildren: Marcia Kidd, husband Gordon of Crossett, AR, Robert Tucker, Jr., wife Jackie & LaJoyce James all of Shreveport, LA, A.W. Gill, Sophillia Gill & Tiffany Gill all of Los Angeles, CA, two great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and loved ones.

Funeral services are Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 11:00 am at Davis Memorial C.O.G.I.C. with Eld. Robert Rudolph, officiating. Visitation Friday, September 7 from 6:30 - 8:00 pm at Cromwell Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Joseph Bivens, Christian Kidd, Everett Duke, Jimmy Thornton, Gregory Watson and Curtis Tate. Burial in Westview Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
