Mrs. Rosa Lee Sims, 104 of Parkdale, AR (Sunshine Community) died Thursday, June 24, 2010 at the Woods Nursing Home in Monticello, AR. She was a lifelong resident of the Sunshine Community, a homemaker, and a member of First Baptist Church in Montrose, AR. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alonzo Vaughn, her second husband, Dewitt Sims, her parents, Thomas & Beulah Gee Ranson, and a cousin, Andrew "Buddy" Dunn. She was a former Sunday School teacher and Usher at First Baptist. She loved cooking, canning, sewing, making quilts and reading.

She is survived by her special caregivers, Johnnie Dunn,and for many years, the Earnestine Dunn family, and a host of other cousins and loved ones.

Funeral services are Sunday, June 27, 2010 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Montrose, AR, with Rev. Louis Meadows, Jr., officiating. Pallbearers are Charles E. Dunn, Charles Watson, James Christian, Donovan Peoples, Henry Lee Dunn, Jr. and Edward Block. Burial in St. Marion Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home.
