May 26, 1958 – March 2, 2025
Ronald Leonard 'Bobo' Hubbard, 66 of Hamburg, AR, transitioned Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Ashley County Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of Hamburg, a graduate of Hamburg High School Class of 1976, and a member of Soldiers Chapel A.M.E. Church. He was a retired truck driver and later worked for Phoenix Youth and Family Services.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tyeshea Hubbard (2012), his parents, Robert Leonard and Margaret Hubbard, two sisters, Mechelle Harris and Evelyn Simpson, his maternal grandparents, Jasper Phillips and Lillie Bell, and paternal grandparents, Thomas and Annie Mae Hubbard. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, and sports. He was a die-hard New Orleans Saints fan. 'Bobo' was an outgoing person, and a jack of all trades, including auto mechanics. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved talking and joking with everyone. He was one if you ever met him you could never forget him.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marilyn Hubbard, three daughters, Sharonda Hubbard and Tiffany Hubbard both of Conway, AR, and Kanesha Wallace of Hamburg, AR, one brother, Patrick Hubbard of Boston, MA, one sister, Alveria 'Tiny' and husband Ricky Daniel of Fountain Hill, AR, three grandchildren, Ryleigh Holden, Kiarra Wilson, and Kolby Wallace, three great grandsons, Korbin and Kapree Wallace, and Kristin Butler, a special brother-in-law, Curtis Harris, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation is Friday, March 7, 2025, at Cromwell Funeral Home 5:00-7:00 P.M. Funeral service is Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Christ Temple Church with Rev. Karal Hammock, Bishop Alfonso Madden, and Bishop Frank Stewart officiating. Active pallbearers are Erik Thomas, Walter Jenkins, Lee Nimmer, Danny Jones, Vernon Fisher, Jr., Jeremy Simpson, and Chris Collins. Honorary pallbearers are members of Hamburg High School Class of 1976. Burial in Johnson Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, Arkansas.
