Ms. Rolanda Shenett Jones, 40 of Chicago, Illinois died July 9, 2010 at Roseland Community Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. She was a native of Chicago and an employee of the UPS company. She attended Chicago Christianland Church. She enjoyed singing. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Tom and U. Z. Tucker; and her paternal grandmother: Rhodie B. Cason.

She is survived by four sons: Timothy McKinney, D'Carius Davis, Tavion Davis, and Demitrius Smith, all of Chicago, Illinois; one daughter: Candice McKinney of Chicago, Illinois; her mother Lorise Tucker Jones-Hughes and husband Charles; her father Willie Jones Jr. and wife Brenda; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 19, 2010 at Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church at 1:00 P.M. with Minister Jesse Radford, Jr. officiating. Active pallbearers will be family and friends. Interment will be at Carlock Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, Arkansas.
