Roderick "Rod" O'Neal Jones, 31 of Crossett, AR, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett. He was a lifelong resident of Crossett, the night manager at McDonalds, and an employee of the Tobacco Store in Crossett. Roderick was a loving father, son, and an inspiration to all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Marshall Jones, and maternal grandfather, William "Manboy" Rogers.

Survived by two sons, Collin Jones, and Kayden Carter both of Evanston, IL, his parents, father Micheal Ray Jones, mother Sandra Elizabeth Tolefree, and step father Leslie Tolefree all of Crossett, one sister, Jasmine Jones of Crossett, maternal grandmother, Gracie Clark of Oakland, CA, paternal grandmother, Alice Jones of Crossett, AR, and a host of other family member and friends.

Funeral service is Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Davis Memorial C.O.G.I.C. with Minister Hubert Ridgell and Bishop Joe Mason officiating. Active pallbearers are Eric Ridgell, Derrick Haynes, Ulisha Haynes, Jr., J.T. Wright, Marcus Williams and Lanard Woods. Honorary Pallbearers are the Crossett Class of 1999, Employees of Crossett McDonalds, and the Tobacco Store in Crossett. Visitation is Friday, May 4, 2012 from 6-7:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial in Westview Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
