Mr. Robert Edward White, age 57 of Montrose, AR died on Friday December 8, 2023. He was a lifelong resident of Montrose, and a member of Evergreen Baptist Church in Boydell, AR. He was a Marine Corp Veteran and worked as a youth care aide with mentally challenged youth. He enjoyed football, basketball, and traveling. Robert had a very deep love for his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lee Otis White (2002), Faither Mae West-White (2021), three brothers, Theofice White (2015), Jackie Wayne White (2019), and Willie White (2021).

He is survived by one brother, Otis White wife Dorothy of Detroit, MI, three sisters, Mary Ann White of Pasadena, CA, Mae Katherine Briggs of Maumelle, AR, and Evelyn Webb of Russellville, AR, a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral service will be Saturday December 16, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Christ Community Center in Dermott, AR with Minister Charles Graham officiating. Active Pallbearers are Brother Ray Holmes, Brother Joe Curtis, Nicholas Curtis, Brother Lanny Woods, Nathan Simmons, and Gabriel Mooney. Honorary Pallbearers are Brother Otis White, Brother Cleo West, Brother Larry West, Brother L.C. West, Brother Desmond White, and Brother Lee West. Burial in Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Boydell, AR under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home Inc of Hamburg, AR.
