Mr. Robert Patton, 62 of Crossett, AR, died Friday, February 25, 2011 at the Ashley County Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of Crossett, a retired truck driver and member of First Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Roy and Althea Nichols Patton; One brother: Michael George Patton.

Mr. Patton is survived by one son: Thad Woods of Texarkana, TX; one daughter: Christina Patton of Hamburg; two brothers: Leroy and John Patton, both of Crossett; two sisters: Robbie Brown and husband "Ricky" of Crossett, and Mary Patton of New Edenburg, AR and special friend, Mittie Ree Hawkins.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church with Rev. Kelvin Galloway and Rev. Jesse Radford officiating. Pallbearers will be Johnny Dupree, Izell Block, David Childress, Johnny Gaston, Albert Goodwin and Sherman Dawkins. Burial will be at Westview Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR. Visitation is Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00pm.
