Robert Lee Duke, Jr., age 70 of Crossett, died Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Jefferson Medical Center in Pine Bluff. He was a lifelong resident of Crossett and of the Baptist faith.  Robert retired from Georgia Pacific Paper Mill where he worked for 30 years.  At the time of his retirement, he was a supervisor in the tissue converting department.

Mr. Duke was preceded in death by one daughter, Katrina Duke; one grandson, Christopher "Lil' Chris" Duke; his parents, Robert Lee and Fannie Jane Biggers-Duke. Robert enjoyed fishing and was a football fan.  He loved life and was loved by all who knew him.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Ruth Ann Duke; four sons, Tredrick Duke of Maumelle, AR, Armondo Duke of Tahlequah, OK, Christopher Duke (Ramanda) of Crossett, Rodriguez Duke (Diedra) of Atlanta, GA; four daughters, Lashawn Chapman (Joe), Kimberly Rogers and Chasity Duke, all of Crossett, AR and Ashley Duke of Fayetteville, AR; one brother, Harvey Duke of Crossett; fifteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services are 11:00AM on Saturday at New Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Jesse Radford, Jr. Burial in Westview Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be the sons of Mr. Duke along with Hasani Duke and Johnathan Chapman.  Honorary Pallbearers will be T.W. Daniel High School Class of 1965.  Visitation is from 5:00-6:00PM on Friday.
