Mr. Robert Daniel "Danny" Nutter, age 88, of Hamburg, AR, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Cornerstone Hospital in West Monroe, LA. He was a native of Gillet, AR but a resident of Hamburg for the past 63 years, a former employee of the Hamburg Police Department and Ashley County Sheriff Department and of the Lutheran Faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Burt and Velma Ann Gyness-Nutter, two sisters, Lavern Sassman and Shirley Hayes, and one brother, John Wilbert Nutter. Mr. Nutter enjoyed fishing, hunting and collecting old coins and arrowheads. He started dealing with salvage as a hobby and later turned it into full-time employment.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Connie Brannon-Nutter, one son: William "Chuck" Nutter wife Carol of Hamburg, AR; one daughter: Terry Ann McLarrin husband Joe of Hamburg, AR; one sister: Linda Murphy husband Jerry of Albany, GA, five grandchildren: Ashley Savage husband Joseph, Doug Nutter, Amy Martin husband Dakota, Joseph McLarrin all of Hamburg, AR; Joey McLarrin of Bastrop, LA, seven great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside Services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Promise Land Cemetery in Hamburg, with Bro. Rayburn McLarrin, officiating. Pallbearers are Daniel Watt, Dakota Martin, Joseph McLarrin, Joey McLarrin, Johnny Pierce and Scott Parker. Burial in Promise Land Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 17, 2016 from 5:30PM-7:00PM at Cromwell Funeral Home.
