Mr. Ricky Earl Franklin, 35 of Crossett, AR died Monday, January 20, 2014 at his residence in Crossett. He was a lifelong resident of Crossett, and a member of West End Temple C.O.G.I.C.

Mr. Franklin was preceded in death by his parents: Willie and Pearline Cason Franklin, one brother, D. Bankston, and one sister, Alma Franklin. Ricky enjoyed fishing and listening to music.

He is survived by two daughters, Rickael & Mickael Williams both of Crossett, AR, four brothers: Lawrence "Sonny" Bankston, Jr., of Crossett, AR, Harvey Franklin, wife JoAnne and Dennis Franklin both of Pine Bluff, AR, Willie Lee Franklin of Cedar Rapids, IA, and five sisters: Shelia Franklin, Linda Parks & Pamela Franklin all of Pine Bluff, AR, Betty Ford, husband John of Arlington, TX and Stella Franklin of Detroit, MI, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and loved ones.

Funeral services are Friday, January 24, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Gates Chapel A.M.E. Church with Rev. Jesse Radford, Jr., officiating. Pallbearers are LaRon Williams, Reginald S. Wiliams, Johnny Stanley, Renard Powell, Robert Caldwell, Melvin Nalls, Timothy Webb & Wendall Martin. Honorary pallbearers are the CHS Class of 1998. Burial in Nimmons Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
