Rickey Lamar Griffin, 68 perished from this final phase of life September 21, 2026 in Omaha, Nebraska. He had battled health issues for a few years and was receiving care under St. Croix Hospice services. He was a 1976 graduate of Hamburg High School and received an Associates of Arts Degree from Shorter College. He later earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in communications from Wilberforce University.

He was preceded in death by his parents Willie E. Griffin, Sr. (2018) and Eunice Webb Griffin (2023); maternal grandparents, Warren Griffin, Sr. and Dora Colbert Griffin; and brothers, Jamie Edward Griffin (1965), Jimmy Edward Griffin (2022), and Kenneth Griffin (2026).

Ricky was a retired forklift driver for Valmont Industries and Oxbow/Compana in Omaha, Nebraska. He loved sports and was a fanatic fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks. Left to treasure his memories are his siblings, Willie E. Griffin, Jr and wife Dorothy and Doretta A. Griffin all of Crossett, AR, and Andrew L. Griffin, Sr. and wife Retha of Edmond, OK, as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, friends, and his helpful roommate Greg Davis.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. in the Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, Arkansas.
