Obituary

Ralph DeCarlo Walter, 58 of Pine Bluff,  Arkansas transitioned Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a native of Hamburg, Arkansas and an employee of Evergreen Packaging Paper Mill in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Ralph was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Hamburg, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Mother, Laverne Tucker Guy (2003), and Father Elige Walter (2002), his Stepfather, Johnny Guy, Sr. (1982); son, DeCario Walter (2017); brother, Marvin Walter (2022), and stepdaughter, Sha'Mia Akins. He loved fishing, traveling, listening to music, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Katrina Lewis Walter of Pine Bluff, AR; one daughter, Raquel Walter 'Amberline' of San Diego, CA; two stepsons, Ryan White of Pine Bluff, AR, and Timothy Akins of Little Rock, AR; five brothers, Brian Guy of Hamburg, Johnny "Trudy" Guy of Crossett, AR, Raylon Walter of Fordyce, AR, Keith Pippen of Hamburg, and Ronald Eddington of North Carolina; two sisters, Pamela Hassen "Floyd" of Chatham, LA, Delois Guy of Little Rock, AR; one grandson, Messiah Akins, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday July 2, 2025, 4:30-6:30 P. M.at Cromwell Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday July 3, 2025, 1:00 P. M. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Minister Matthew Beasley officiating. Active Pallbearers are Undra Reynolds, Walter Jenkins, Cal Sellers, Tyrone Haynes, Robert Hatchett, and Steve Paskel. Honorary Pallbearers Al Freddie Tucker, Jr., Ira Tucker, John Tucker, Anthony Tucker, James Lane,  Myron Tucker, Vincent Broadway, Evester Gardner, and the Evergreen Packaging Brownstock Division. Burial in Johnson Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
